And we sang as though nobody could hear us

Christmas carols sung into the ether or, more accurately, the quiet of a Zoom singalong.

Thank-you to all of you who joined in last night's carol singing and to our excellent maestro for leading and accompanying us.

With a dozen of us singing again as a group, albeit online, realising that our voices were terribly out of practice and being immeasurably grateful for the Mute function, it was nonetheless lovely to catch up and to laugh (or cringe) at our individual performances.

I will be engaging in some serious rehearsing before we reconvene.

Do feel free to invite family and friends to join in our next session - it's not the quality of our sound that matters but the warmth of the company and our laughter.

See you on the 9th at 7:00pm, Shelley
