Back to Class

Dear Singers,

Things are finally starting to look up and we send congratulations to all of you who have had your first vaccinations.

We are happy to say that we are starting a weekly series of zoom evenings, beginning the process of getting our voices in trim, working through some of our existing repertoire and allowing us to spend a little time in each others' company.

Our first session is on Wednesday 10th February at 7:30 and these will last for 1 1/2 hours with a warm-up, followed by choral pieces:

Schubert mass in G Kyrie

Mozart Ave Verum

Puccini Missa di gloria- Kyrie

Mendelssohn Elijah- He watching over Israel

Brahms - Requiem Selig Sind

Verdi - Nabucco Speed your journey

Victoria - Ave Maria

Handel - Messiah, Behold the Lamb of God (or Worthy is the Lamb - tbc)

Jan will be circulating details to you all very shortly and we so look forward to seeing you again, in good voice.
